LARMAGAZINE is a contemporary art magazine that documents the work of artists working across painting, installation, sound, and new media. The portfolios section gathers a curated selection of these practices into one place, offering close reading of individual bodies of work rather than a single linear exhibition narrative. Each portfolio is presented as a self-contained space where the images carry as much weight as the accompanying text, allowing the textures, gestures, and recurring visual languages of contemporary practice to be examined at the reader's own pace.

Featured artists are introduced alongside descriptive writing that situates each practice within the wider cultural landscape of Mexico and beyond. The emphasis falls on how materials and space are handled: the handling of thread, line, and pattern in installation work, the surfaces and scale of painting, and the ways sound and moving image shape an encounter with the work. This editorial framing keeps the emphasis on the work itself, resisting the impulse to reduce a portfolio to a short list of biographical markers.

Browsing the collections reveals a modular rhythm of image-led blocks, with generous spacing and clear typographic hierarchy guiding the eye from one artist to the next. Because the magazine is organized around issues and articles as well as portfolios, the portfolio pages function as an archive as much as a showcase: readers can move between curated showcases and longer critical writing, building their own path through the material. The result is a resource that rewards repeated visits, each return offering a different sequence of works to consider.
